Northland Cardiology, a premiere provider of cardiology services in the Kansas City Northland area, has existed for over twenty years and is recognized throughout the Midwest for providing excellent care. The group consists of 14 board-certified cardiologists located in northern metropolitan Kansas City, Missouri. Our objective is to give the very best care and services available.
Our practice performs approximately 2,300 catheterizations and 1,000 coronary interventions annually, making our cardiovascular program one of the largest in Kansas City. The practice accounts for approximately 40% of the patient activity at North Kansas City Hospital. Our cardiovascular program features an aggressive interventional program with excellent access to the newest techniques including rotational atherectomy, intravascular ultrasound, and virtually all of the other interventional tools available. We have a very active cath lab and peripheral lab with dedicated CT angiography. Our cardiovascular surgery program currently performs over 300 open-heart procedures per year.
Our electrophysiology program is very active and includes placement of permanent pacemakers, PCD devices, biventricular pacing, and radiofrequency ablation. We manage over 2,000 patients in our device clinic.
Our physicians provide the services for North Kansas City Hospital’s noninvasive lab including EKGs, stress tests, echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiography.
We have three office locations, all located in the Northland. Our primary facility is on the Hospital campus adjoining the non-invasive laboratory with two dedicated cardiac nuclear cameras, as well as the echocardiology labs. Our secondary offices also conduct stress and resting echocardiograms as well as carotid ultrasounds.
We offer an excellent compensation and benefits package, including paid malpractice insurance. Anticipated call schedule for Interventionalist is 1 primary per month and 1 weekend per month.

North Kansas City Hospital is a full service, 451-bed, level II trauma center that offers physicians and patients the most advanced medical equipment available. We currently have a medical staff consisting of nearly 600 physicians, providing ample specialty coverage to assist you in continuing the high quality care your patients expect.
